Our School Council and Pupil Leadership

Two of our Year 5 pupils have made a game which many children have enjoyed playing at dinner times.  The game includes many choices and decisions to be made.  It is a wonderful opportunity for children to play and learn together.

Our Prefects went to Victoria Park on Armistice Day to lay crosses at the Cenotaph and to listen to the service delivered by Rev Lyn McIver and ex service men in recognition of all those brave service men and women of Widnes who died for our country.

Our School Council interviewed Mr Derek Twigg MP on his recent visit to our School.  They asked some really interesting and difficult questions such as, "Which was your favourite debate?".   Mr Twigg MP told the children about his career and life as an MP.  He also told the School Council Members about how he was born and brought up in Widnes.

Mr Twigg MP also called into two assemblies and talked to our children in KS1 and EYFS and also to KS2.  Mr Twigg was also delighted to have a tour around our Upper School Building to see all the fabulous work going on there to refurbish and extend the facilities.
