Young Leaders

We encourage leadership and acts of social responsibility within our Student Young Leadership Groups.

All children at Fairfield Primary have the opportunity to suggest ways of improving the school or the lives of others through various groups and forum. In our school we have Young Leaders elected for various groups from all classes from Reception classes upwards who meet collectively throughout the year with a member of staff who coordinates this and guides them.

Young Leaders introduce themselves annually through assemblies, newsletters and across school events in Term 1 and Term 2:1 .

They present to the children what they have already achieved and what they intend to the year ahead. Then they encourage the children to share ideas to discuss as a young leader group.

The children have achieved many successes and started various campaigns in their groups and this is shared on their own individual young group pages.
